Alan Jackson and Jana Kramer are among the many artists releasing new albums on Tuesday (June 5). Brandi Carlile, Rodney Crowell, Joe Walsh of the Eagles and Neil Young & Crazy Horse are also returning with new music.

Jackson's Thirty Miles West, his first project as a joint venture between his ACR (Alan's Country Records) and EMI Nashville, features "A Long Way to Go" and "So You Don't Have to Love Me Anymore." Zac Brown sings on "Dixie Highway." The album concludes with "When I Saw You Leaving (For Nisey)," written by Jackson for his wife Denise, who battled cancer in 2010. She has since been declared cancer-free.

Kramer's self-titled effort arrives on Elektra Nashville. An actress known for TV roles on Friday Night Lights and One Tree Hill, Kramer is currently on the country charts with "Why Ya Wanna." She is also the CMT Listen Up artist in June. The Michigan native will be traveling with Brad Paisley's tour this summer, playing early sets on the Virtual Opry stage.

Seattle-based singer-songwriter Brandi Carlile infuses her new album Bear Creek with the country music that influenced her as a young woman. She recorded most of the project at Bear Creek Studios, a converted barn near Seattle built in the early 1900s. Three other tracks were produced in Nashville by Frank Liddell and Jay Joyce.

Rodney Crowell and author Mary Karr have partnered for Kin, a compilation of new songs they wrote together. Crowell sings on four of the tracks, including a duet with Kris Kristofferson titled "My Father's Advice." Other guests on the album are Vince Gill, Emmylou Harris, Norah Jones, Lucinda Williams and Lee Ann Womack.

Joe Walsh of the Eagles offers Analog Man, his first solo album two decades. He co-produced the album with Jeff Lynne. Ringo Starr, who is Walsh's brother-in-law, plays drums on the release. Walsh will join Kenny Chesney, Luke Bryan, ZZ Top's Billy Gibbons, Sara Evans, Hunter Hayes and Paisley for a new episode of CMT Crossroads airing June 23.

Meanwhile, Neil Young & Crazy Horse return with Americana, their first album in nearly nine years. The collection draws from classic American folk songs such as "Tom Dooley," "Oh Susannah" and "This Land Is Your Land." The ensemble will return to touring with two dates at Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, Colo., in August.

In addition, Foggy Mountain Special: A Bluegrass Tribute to Earl Scruggs features a who's who of bluegrass pickers, while Pa's Fiddle is inspired by the music played by Laura Ingalls Wilder's father in the Little House on the Prairie books.

Other new releases include banjo master Bela Fleck and the Marcus Roberts Trio's jazz-oriented Across the Imaginary Divide, road warrior Langhorne Slim's The Way We Move, Irish singer-songwriter Bap Kennedy's Sailor's Revenge, Americana ensemble Marley's Ghost's Jubilee (with guests Emmylou Harris, Old Crow Medicine Show and John Prine), roots trio Red June's Beauty Will Come, folk-influenced songwriter Kelli Scarr's Dangling Teeth, Swedish songwriter Anna Ternheim's The Night Visitor (recorded in Nashville) and bluegrass bassist Alan Tompkins' No Part of Nothin'.

New EPs include young country singer Tiffany Houghton's self-titled release, promising Nashville songwriter Marc Scibilia's self-titled release and ZZ Top's Texacali.
