Chris Cagle, Jerry Douglas Lead New Releases

Chris Cagle, Jerry Douglas and Mindy Smith are among the musicians releasing new albums on Tuesday (June 26).

Cagle's Back in the Saddle features his hit single, "Got My County On." The project is his first for Bigger Picture. Cagle's past country hits include "Laredo," "I Breathe In, I Breathe Out," "What a Beautiful Day," "Chicks Dig It" and "What Kinda Gone."

Douglas' Traveler includes guests Eric Clapton, Marc Cohn, Alison Krauss & Union Station (with whom he often tours and records), Del McCoury, Keb Mo, Mumford & Sons and Paul Simon. Meanwhile, Smith's self-titled album offers the lead single, "Closer." The new album is her first as an independent artist.

Other new releases include 12-string guitarist Mark Fosson's Digging in the Dust: Home Recordings 1976, New Jersey singer Pat Guadagno's New Jersey Material, longtime songwriter Don Hall's self-titled album, Seattle songwriter Davidson Hart Kingsbery's 2 Horses and Norwegian fiddler Annbjorg Lien's Khoom Loy. In addition, songwriters John Brannen and James House have teamed up as Troubadour Kings. Their debut album Heartache Town includes "Get Lucky," heard on HBO's True Blood.
