Kenny Chesney Heads to New York for Fourth of July Concert

Brad Paisley, Willie Nelson, Toby Keith Also Plan Holiday Shows

Kenny Chesney and Brad Paisley are just two of the country stars performing at high-profile events on the Fourth of July. Of course, July 4 also signals Willie Nelson's annual picnic, and this year's event in Fort Worth, Texas, is shaping up to be another stellar event.

Chesney and Katy Perry are the musical performers in New York City for Macy's Fourth of July Spectacular, a TV special airing at 9 p.m. ET on NBC. Chesney will perform "Summertime" and his current single, "Come Over," during the special hosted by Regis Philbin.

As previously reported, Paisley will be in Washington, D.C., to perform a salute to the military during a USO-sponsored concert on the South Lawn of the White House. The one-hour concert, which also features the U.S. Marine Band, will be streamed lived on the White House website at 8:10 p.m. ET.

Nelson's legendary Fourth of July Picnic takes place at Billy Bob's Texas with a lineup that includes fellow Country Music Hall of Fame member Bill Anderson, along with Jamey Johnson, Billy Joe Shaver, Ray Wylie Hubbard, the Randy Rogers Band, Asleep at the Wheel, Johnny Bush, Lukas Nelson, Corey Smith, Stoney LaRue, Wade Bowen and others.

Toby Keith and Lionel Richie will appear during a concert at the Greenbrier Classic golf tournament in White Sulphur Springs, W.Va.

In Nashville, the Mavericks, Craig Morgan, Sarah Darling and the Nashville Symphony will be performing a free concert at Riverfront Park prior to the annual fireworks display near the Cumberland River.
