Old-Timey Rice Pudding
¼ cup rice
4 cups regular milk
1/3 cup sugar
½ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon lemon juice
¼ teaspoon nutmeg
½ cup raisins
Preheat oven to 300°.
Combine rice, milk, sugar and salt. Pour into greased 1½ quart baking dish. Bake at 300° for 1 hour stirring every 15 minutes. Add lemon, nutmeg and raisins. Bake 2-2½ hours longer.
