Gregg Allman, The Lumineers, Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros and Los Lonely Boys will join the Zac Brown Band in Nashville for the Southern Ground Music & Food Festival. The lineup for the Nashville festival, set for Sept. 21-22 at Riverfront Park, was announced Thursday (Aug. 2). Allman will make a guest appearance with the Zac Brown Band. Others appearing in Nashville include Amos Lee and David Gray. A similar festival will take place Oct. 20-21 at Blackbaud Stadium in Charleston, S.C. The Zac Brown Band will perform on a bill that includes the Avett Brothers and Grace Potter & the Nocturnals. Both events will feature Michael Franti & Spearhead, Jerry Douglas and Southern Ground recording artists Sonia Leigh, Nic Cowan and Blackberry Smoke. Combining music and food, the festivals are curated by the band and Southern Ground executive chef Rusty Hamlin. Ticket information is available at the festival website.
