Neil Young, Foo Fighters Set for Concert at New York’s Central Park

Neil Young will follow up his Sept. 22 appearance at Farm Aid with a Sept. 29 concert at Central Park in New York City. Young and Crazy Horse will headline on the park’s Great Lawn during Global Festival 2012, a concert that also features Foo Fighters and the Black Keys. The ticketed festival is presented by the Global Poverty Project, an international education and advocacy organization, and celebrates achievements made toward eradicating extreme poverty. Farm Aid, taking place at Hersheypark Stadium in Hershey, Pa., will also include appearances by Willie Nelson, John Mellencamp, Dave Matthews, Kenny Chesney, Jack Johnson and others.
