OFFSTAGE: Tim McGraw & Faith Hill: A Set List Wish List

(CMT Offstage keeps a 24/7 watch on everything that’s happening with country music artists behind the scenes and out of the spotlight.)

I think I can read between Tim McGraw’s lines. Earlier this week, he told reporters that when it comes time for him and Faith Hill to take the stage for their string of shows at the Venetian in Las Vegas, it would be a chance to “be onstage the entire time together.” And then he hinted that since all of their usual duets are ballads, they’d have to throw in some up-tempo songs. And while he didn’t come right out and ask for our help, I think what he meant was, “What songs of Faith’s would you like me to sing with her, and what songs of mine would you like Faith to sing with me?” I’ll get us started.

If McGraw covers Hill:

“This Kiss”
“Cry” “Let Me Let Go”
“Someone Else’s Dream”
“Wild One” “When the Lights Go Down”
“Breathe” “Dearly Beloved”

If Hill covers McGraw:

“I Know How to Love You Well”
“Down on the Farm” “Can’t Tell Me Nothin'”
“Hard on the Ticker”
“I Do but I Don’t”
“Sing Me Home”
“How Bad Do You Want It”
“Give It to Me Strait”
“Blank Sheet of Paper”
