Texas Tortilla Soup

2 pounds ground beef, browned
1 chopped onion
1 4-ounce can green chilies
1 can Rotel tomatoes
1 can kidney beans
1 can chili beans (or ranch style beans)
1 can corn, drained
1 package taco seasoning
2 cups tomato sauce (or tomato soup)
3 cups water

Combine ingredients and simmer for 2 hours. Serve on top of tortilla chips and top with sharp grated cheddar cheese.
