The Lumineers, 'Country Strong' Reach Gold

The Lumineers' single "Ho Hey" and the Country Strong soundtrack have each been certified gold by the RIAA for shipments of 500,000 copies. "Ho Hey" is the band's first single. They will perform at the Zac Brown Band's Southern Ground Music and Food Festival in Nashville on Sept. 22. Released in 2010, the Country Strong soundtrack features performances from the film's stars -- Gwyneth Paltrow (who charted a country hit with the title track), Tim McGraw, Garrett Hedlund and Leighton Meester -- as well as songs by Ronnie Dunn, Faith Hill, Lee Ann Womack and others. In addition, Josh Turner's singles "Would You Go With Me" and "Your Man" have been certified platinum for 1 million downloads each.
