Jason Aldean’s “Take a Little Ride” Earns Gold

Jason Aldean’s “Take a Little Ride” has been certified gold by the RIAA for 500,000 digital downloads. The track is the lead single from his album Night Train, due Oct. 16. Meanwhile, Curb Records achieved numerous platinum and gold single certifications this month. Platinum certifications for 1 million downloads include Rodney Atkins“Farmer’s Daughter,” “Take a Back Road” and “Watching You” as well as Tim McGraw’s “My Little Girl.” Gold singles denoting 500,000 downloads each for the label include Atkins’ “These Are My People,” Lee Brice’s “Hard to Love,” Steve Holy’s “Brand New Girlfriend” and Hank Williams Jr.’s 1982 single, “A Country Boy Can Survive.” McGraw’s new gold certifications are “I Need You,” “If You’re Reading This,” “Last Dollar (Fly Away),” “Something Like That” and “Southern Voice.”
