Drama. Cat fights. Love triangles. And more drama. It’s what goes on in every band, right? Maybe. But not for Little Big Town. When People magazine recently asked the band how they “keep the peace” between the sexes in their two-guys-and-two-girls country band, Kimberly Schlapman said the guys — Jimi Westbrook and Phillip Sweet — are real gentlemen. “They carried our bags when nobody else was around 13 years ago,” she said. But Sweet says Schlapman is the one who really does keep the peace, while Karen Fairchild is the one he calls “the ringleader of fun.” That must be true. Since their latest song “Pontoon” hit the top of the charts, she’s been getting text messages from other artists — like Dierks Bentley and Miranda Lambert — when they are out on pontoon boats. She even got a video from a female fan dancing on a stripper pole on a pontoon boat. “We have made pontoons sexy,” Westbrook added.
