Avett Brothers, Randy Travis Tape CMT Crossroads

The Avett Brothers and country legend Randy Travis teamed up to film a new episode of CMT Crossroads Wednesday night (Oct. 24) in Franklin, Tenn. CMT Crossroads: The Avett Brothers and Randy Travis will be the 46th installment of the show which pairs country artists with pop and rock stars. Premiering Nov. 23 at 11 p.m. ET/PT on CMT, the show will feature collaborations on some of Travis’ biggest hits, as well as popular songs from throughout the Avett’s career, including their newest release, The Carpenter. The Avett Brothers and Travis all hail from North Carolina and share a background in gospel singing. The Avett Brothers’ music video for “Live and Die” is currently in rotation on CMT.
