OFFSTAGE: Coveting Carrie Underwood’s Dress(es)

(CMT Offstage keeps a 24/7 watch on everything that’s happening with country music artists behind the scenes and out of the spotlight.)

If I had $796, I could steal Carrie Underwood’s CMA Awards look. Well, one of them anyway. It was this adorable Alice + Olivia flirty little almost vintage-like Azala dress . It had a pale gold sequin-covered long-sleeved top and a cream silk-chiffon flared skirt. She wore it with silver sandals, which perfected the look. It was one of a dozen dresses Underwood slipped into throughout the red carpet walk and the three-hour awards show, and it was my very favorite. But the other 11 outfits were pretty gorgeous, too. There was the white Reem Acra, the navy Sally LaPointe, the nude Jovani, the black and Chantilly lace Ines Di Santo, the red Chagoury Couture, the grey Tsemaye Binitie, the champagne tulle Christian Siriano, the sky-blue Basler, the white Tony Ward and a couple more. When you flip through the photo galleries of Underwood, it’s like a rainbow of glamour. Let us know which dress was your favorite on Underwood. And if the Alice + Olivia was your No. 1 look, add your name to the email list so they can tell you if/when it ever goes on sale.
