George Jones Announces Final Tour Dates

Country Legend Will Play Nashville on Nov. 22, 2013

George Jones has announced dates for his final tour, which will continue through late next year. Among the dates, Jones will perform in Nashville on Nov. 22, 2013, at the Bridgestone Arena.

Although it is the final date listed, Jones’ spokesperson has indicated the Nashville show will not be Jones’ final performance overall. Tanya Tucker and several surprise guests are expected to appear with Jones next year in Nashville.

“The Grand Tour will have surprises throughout the shows,” Jones said in a written statement. “You never know who may show up! The Possum has lots of friends, so it is going to be the most exciting thing to see who shows up during the final show. You should come, too, and we can be surprised together!”
