I've seen Miranda Lambert in about a hundred different red carpet outfits, and she's looked gorgeous in them all. But this look she wore to the San Diego Zoo recently has to be my all-time, hands-down favorite. Mostly because she's the only singer I know who can still rock braids. And then to top off said braids with a Mama Tried cap, even better. Plus, she's wearing a comfy-looking plaid shirt and a name tag that reads Consuela. That's pearl-snap sass. Lambert posted a few Twitter pictures of the trip to the zoo, one with a llama ("Llama kisses!"), one with a turtle ("We had a blast at the San Diego zoo!!!! Thanks so much") and one of a couple of giraffes ("Tall and handsome!"). To me, the fact that Lambert's willing to show the world all kinds of kinds says a lot about who she is when we're not looking.
