OFFSTAGE: Howdy, Country Music Neighbors

(CMT Offstage keeps a 24/7 watch on everything that’s happening with country music artists behind the scenes and out of the spotlight.)

How great would it be if Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton moved into your neighborhood? The greatest, according to a new survey from Zillow, the website and mobile app devoted to giving you every single detail — and pictures — about real estate anywhere in the country.

They asked more than 1,000 adults in the U.S. about which celebrities they’d most like as neighbors, and Lambert and Shelton topped the list. The sixth annual Zillow Celebrity Neighbor Survey found that of the people who did want to live near stars (45 percent actually did not), 10 percent wanted to share a fence with country’s it couple.

Even if they’d likely never move into your town, Zillow could show you how to move into theirs. For example, if you wanted to hang your hat in Tishomingo, Okla., you could go to Zillow to get the lowdown on this three-bedroom, two-bathroom brick ranch house for $125,000 .

Other winners and losers in the survey: Taylor Swift came in second with nine percent of the vote. And then there were the folks no one wanted to live near. Like the cast of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, Kanye West and Kim Kardashian. So it looks like reality stars make the worst fantasy neighbors.
