Taylor Swift Leads Platinum, Gold Certifications

Lee Brice, Eli Young Band Receive Platinum Singles

Although Taylor Swift's new album is titled Red, she's now facing a colorful stack of gold and platinum certifications from the RIAA.

Earlier this month, that album's lead single, "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together," reached triple-platinum status, signifying 3 million downloads. Additional certifications include platinum singles for "Eyes Open" and "I Knew You Were Trouble," as well as gold singles for 500,000 digital downloads of "Begin Again" and "Red."

Swift's Red album was quickly certified triple platinum in November for 3 million units shipped.

Meanwhile, Lee Brice's "Hard to Love" reached platinum status in December, as did Eli Young Band's "Even if It Breaks Your Heart." Other gold certifications include Rascal Flatts' "Come Wake Me Up" and Blake Shelton's "Over."

On the album front, Mumford & Sons' Babel has been certified platinum for shipments of 1 million units. Little Big Town's Tornado, the Lumineers' self-titled debut and Justin Moore's self-titled debut from 2009 have all reached gold status for 500,000 units shipped.
