Spaghetti Pie

6 ounces spaghetti
½ cup Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons butter
2 eggs, beaten
12-ounce carton cottage cheese

1 pound ground beef
½ cup onions
¼ cup chopped green pepper
1 8-ounce can tomatoes
1 6-ounce can tomato paste
1 teaspoon oregano
1 teaspoon sugar
½ teaspoon garlic salt

4 ounces shredded mozzarella

Cook spaghetti, drain and add cheese, butter and eggs. Mix well. Form into crust in a buttered 10-inch pie plate. Spread cottage cheese over crust.

Preheat oven to 350°.

Brown beef with onions and green pepper. Add remaining ingredients. Top cottage cheese with meat mixture. Bake at 350° for 15 minutes. Remove from oven.

Sprinkle 4 ounces shredded mozzarella over top. Bake another 10-minutes or until cheese is melted.

Serves 6 – 8.
