Deacon and that music journalist are still together. Juliette and Sean are not. Rayna and Teddy are not. Scarlett and Gunnar are not. However, those two did drive to Texas together so Gunnar could pick up his brother from jail. But one of the best little moments on Wednesday night’s (Jan. 16) episode of ABC’s Nashville was when Katie Cook plays herself — a CMT reporter — at the Red Lips White Lies tour rehearsal, chatting with Juliette about how she will stay in shape during the arena tour, how she mentally prepares and how she’s doing after the breakup with Sean. Another scene that was much more scandalous was when there’s a situation with Scarlett that makes Deacon quit his gig with the Revel Kings. “Some guys just don’t know how to be humble about their talent, you know? Everyone starts treating them like a God, and pretty soon, they think everyone’s just there to serve them,” Deacon explained to Scarlett. Oh, and the music was especially good on this episode, too.
