Remember Tim McGraw's tour last summer -- when he was working out incessantly using truck tires and battle ropes? This year, McGraw is taking Stephen Barker Liles and Eric Gunderson (Love and Theft) on the road with him for his 30-city tour that kicks off in May, and they are thrilled with everything but the threat of those workouts. "We can't even wait to start the Tim tour. He's the man," Liles said in a press release. "I don't know if I'll be doing any four-mile runs or lifting monster truck tires before the show like he does. ... Maybe Eric will." Liles went on to say his band is going to have a blast with McGraw and fellow opener Brantley Gilbert. He added, "Tim always has stellar catering, so that doesn't suck."
