OFFSTAGE: Faith Hill Trades “Hot Legs” for Key West

I’d be mad at Tim McGraw for this, too. Right when Rod Stewart was about to sing his 1978 hit “Hot Legs” live at a concert in Nashville, McGraw made his wife Faith Hill get up and leave her seat. But it was all in the name of love. “We went to see Rod Stewart one year when he came through Nashville,” Hill told Us magazine about one of her best wedding anniversary memories. “I remember he was going into his encore, and he was just about to sing ‘Hot Legs,’ and [McGraw] pulled me out of the seat. I was like, ‘What are you doing? I have to see Rod Stewart sing.’” He then blindfolded her and put her into the car. “We went to the airport and got a plane,” she said. The couple flew to Key West, Fla., where she eventually forgave him. And even though it rained the entire time they were in the Keys, Hill says it was still great. “We basically kinda hung out in the place we rented,” Hill recalled. “We find our fun, don’t we?”
