Blake Shelton's Tornado Relief Concert Set for May 29 in Oklahoma City

CMT Will Air NBC Telethon Featuring Miranda Lambert, Reba McEntire, Vince Gill and More

Blake Shelton, Miranda Lambert, Luke Bryan, Darius Rucker, Rascal Flatts, Reba McEntire, Vince Gill and Usher will perform during Healing in the Heartland: Relief Benefit Concert, a telethon taking place Wednesday (May 29) at the Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City.

The concert will be televised live at 9 p.m. ET/PT on NBC. It will also air on CMT, Style, G4, Bravo, E! and Palladia on either a live or delayed basis.

"Everyone has their way to help, and mine as an entertainer is to perform to help raise money and awareness for this tragedy," said Shelton, who is organizing and will headline the telethon. "This is why I want to do this special and especially hold it in Oklahoma City, which is near ground zero."

The event will raise funds for the United Way of Central Oklahoma's May Tornadoes Relief Fund. Working with their local community partners, United Way of Central Oklahoma will use the fund for immediate, intermediate and long-term recovery and rebuilding efforts in Oklahoma following the tornadoes that devastated the Moore community on Monday (May 20).

Shelton, McEntire and Gill are Oklahoma natives. Shelton and Lambert, born in Texas, currently reside in Tishomingo, Okla.

In 2011, Shelton and McEntire hosted two sold-out concerts that raised $500,000 for victims of tornadoes in Atoka County.

Tickets to the Healing in the Heartland concert go on sale Saturday (May 25) at 10 a.m. CT. Tickets are $25, with a limit of eight per person. Tickets can be purchased at the Chesapeake Energy Arena box office and via Ticketmaster.
