OFFSTAGE: The Band Perry Start With “Done”

(CMT Offstage keeps a 24/7 watch on everything that’s happening with country music artists behind the scenes and out of the spotlight.)

It would be way too obvious and literal to finish a show with a song called “Done.” But to start with “Done”? I’m not sure what I think of that. But that’s what The Band Perry have been doing while they are out on the road this summer. “It’s our show opener, which is really exciting for the three of us. We’ve always wanted to have a song that we can come out to with both guns blazing. We’ve got fog jet that shoots up in the air. It’s a really energetic song to come out,” Neil Perry explained. His big sister and lead singer Kimberly Perry added that the fan feedback about the song “Done” has been so good. “Just to hear the stories from guys and girls who’ve been inspired by this song to get out of a really bad situation, we are happy to wave the banner and glad to help you,” she said.
