Florida Georgia Line, Luke Bryan Claim More Multiplatinum Plaques

Florida Georgia Line and Luke Bryan scored multiplatinum certifications during the month of June, according to a report issued Wednesday (July 24) by the RIAA. Florida Georgia Line’s “Cruise” has been declared quadruple platinum after surpassing 4 million digital downloads and streams. Bryan’s second album, Doin’ My Thing, achieved quadruple platinum status for shipments of 4 million copies. In the gold album category, the Pistol AnniesHell on Heels and Kelly Clarkson‘s Greatest Hits — Chapter One have been certified for shipments of 500,000 copies. Platinum single awards go to “Angel Eyes” by Love and Theft and “Highway Don’t Care” by Tim McGraw (featuring Taylor Swift and Keith Urban). Gold singles were awarded to Bryan’s “Crash My Party,” Lee Brice‘s “I Drive Your Truck,” Eric Church‘s “Like Jesus Does,” Jake Owen‘s “Anywhere With You” and The Band Perry‘s “Done.” Kip Moore struck gold with two singles — “Hey Pretty Girl” and “Beer Money.”
