Craig Morgan Leads New Releases

Multiple Artists Contribute to 'Frog Trouble' Compilation

Craig Morgan is mixing old and new material for his latest album, The Journey (Livin' Hits). He released the album on Tuesday (Sept. 3) on Black River Entertainment.

Four of the songs on the album are new, including his current single, "Wake Up Lovin' You."

In addition, there are new recordings of eight previous singles, including "That's What I Love About Sunday." The original version of that song spent four weeks at No. 1 on Billboard's country airplay chart in 2005. Other familiar selections include "Almost Home," "Redneck Yacht Club," "Little Bit of Life," "Tough" and "International Harvester."

"I'm so excited about the new music," Morgan said. "You can listen to this record and join me on the journey where I've been to where I'm headed. I think we've put together a really great album with new music that looks ahead to the future as well as some of the fan-favorite songs that speak to who I am at my core and what my fans love in my live shows."

In addition, multiple country artists have contributed to a new compilation titled Frog Trouble, featuring songs written by children's book author Sandra Boynton. Guests include Alison Krauss, Kacey Musgraves, Brad Paisley, Darius Rucker, Josh Turner, Dwight Yoakam and more.

New Americana releases include Elephant Revival's These Changing Skies, North Mississippi Allstars' World Boogie Is Coming and Over the Rhine's Meet Me at the Edge of the World. All three bands will participate in the Americana Music Festival later this month in Nashville.
