CMA Nominations: 10 Artist Tweets

I’m not sure what I’d do if I got nominated for some kind of prestigious award. But jumping on Twitter to gush about it would probably be a pretty safe bet. It looks like that’s what most of the artists did this week after the CMA Awards nominations were announced on Tuesday (Sept. 10).

Not all of the nominees have tweeted about it, though. There’s been no news from Carrie Underwood, Luke Bryan, Darius Rucker, George Strait, Eric Church or Blake Shelton (which is shocking because he has tweeted 15,000 times). And nothing from the Zac Brown Band, unless “Ya know, not all our songs are about chicken” is some kind of statement on the world of country music.
