Jason Aldean Will Preview Concert Film on CMT

Oct. 19 Special Surrounds DVD Release of 'Night Train to Georgia'

Jason Aldean has already given fans a glimpse of his upcoming concert film, Night Train to Georgia, and he'll be sharing more of the excitement on CMT.

A 30-minute special about his performance in his home state of Georgia will air Oct. 19 at 2 p.m. ET/PT on CMT. Palladia will air the feature on Oct. 20 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

To preview the special, CMT is already airing an exclusive live performance of Aldean's latest single, "Night Train," which tops this week's Billboard country airplay chart.

The DVD arrives in stores and for download on Oct. 15.

Aldean will host a live chat to accompany the stream of a special version of Night Train to Georgia on Oct 14 at 9 p.m. ET. Leading up to the chat, fans can head to Instagram for the chance to be a part of the "Night Train" music video by posting videos of their own creative dance moves using the hashtag #JasonAldeanDVD. The campaign is already running and showcases randomly selected video submissions on his official website.

Filmed in April at the University of Georgia's Sanford Stadium, Night Train to Georgia captures Aldean's concert before a sold-out crowd of more than 66,000.

Aldean is up for three awards at the upcoming CMA Awards, including his third consecutive nomination for entertainer of the year. He is also up for male vocalist and musical event of the year for "The Only Way I Know" featuring Luke Bryan and Eric Church.

After performing several stadium concerts earlier this year, Aldean's Night Train tour continues with stops Thursday (Sept. 26) in Ridgefield, Wash., Friday in Tacoma, Wash., and two additional dates in Canada.
