Fall Out Boy, The Band Perry Set for 'CMT Crossroads'

The Two Bands Will Be Sharing Songs and Stories During Private Taping in Nashville

Two of music's biggest acts are joining forces for CMT Crossroads: Fall Out Boy and The Band Perry, a concert special premiering Nov. 29 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on CMT.

After releasing their debut album in 2003, Fall Out Boy's success exploded after their third project, Infinity on High, debuted at the top of the Billboard 200 chart in 2007. The band's latest album, Save Rock and Roll also debuted at No. 1 on the trade publication's all-genres album chart and was No. 1 on iTunes in 27 countries when it was released in April.

Save Rock and Roll features the multiplatinum single "My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark (Light Em Up)" and the new hit "Alone Together."

Founded near Chicago, Fall Out Boy features singer-guitarist Patrick Stump, bassist Pete Wentz, guitarist Joe Trohman and drummer Andy Hurley. In addition to being featured on the cover of Rolling Stone and other national publications, they've performed on Saturday Night Live, The Today Show, America's Got Talent, The Voice, Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, The Tonight Show With Jay Leno, Conan, The Late Show With David Letterman, Jimmy Kimmel Live and many more shows.

Following a sold-out tour during the spring and summer, the band is currently on a U.S. arena tour in support of Save Rock and Roll.

Since releasing their self-titled debut album on Republic Nashville in 2010, The Band Perry has become a major presence in country music. Fronted by Kimberly Perry and rounded out by her younger brothers Neil and Reid, the band has notched a string of hit singles, including the quadruple-platinum "If I Die Young" (which climbed to No. 1 on Billboard's country and adult contemporary charts), the platinum "You Lie" and the gold country No. 1 "All Your Life."

Their gold-certified sophomore release, Pioneer, features two consecutive No. 1 smashes -- the platinum "Better Dig Two" and the gold "Done." The latter earned Neil and Reid Perry their first chart-topper as songwriters. The album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard country chart and No. 2 on the Billboard 200. Their latest single, "Don't Let Me Be Lonely," is already in the Top 30 on the country airplay chart.

The Band Perry recently announced their We Are Pioneers world tour. The trio is also nominated for vocal group of the year at the upcoming CMA Awards.
