Luke Bryan Announces 2014 Tour
Luke Bryan will launch a new headline tour in January with dates scheduled through March. Lee Brice and Cole Swindell are scheduled to open the shows.
With the title of That's My Kind of Night tour, the itinerary begins Jan. 16 in Columbus, Ohio. The tour is also scheduled for Madison Square Garden in New York City on Jan. 25.
His current Dirt Road Diaries tour will conclude Oct. 26 in West Palm Beach, Fla. In addition, he is scheduled to perform on the CMA Awards on Nov. 6. Bryan is nominated for entertainer, male vocalist and musical event, the latter for "The Only Way I Know" with Jason Aldean and Eric Church.
Meanwhile, Brice is nominated in the CMA's new artist category. One of his biggest hits, "I Drive Your Truck," will compete for song of the year, an award presented to songwriters.
Swindell, a Georgia native best known for his single "Chillin' It," is signed to Warner Bros.
On Wednesday (Oct. 16), Bryan was revealed as one of CMT's Artists of the Year. The other artists recognized with the honor include Aldean, Florida Georgia Line, Hunter Hayes and Tim McGraw. That ceremony will air live on CMT on Dec. 3.
