That crashing sound you hear is another wall of popular culture being breached as the media ravenous Duck Dynasty breaks into the Christmas music market. This week, Duck the Halls: A Robertson Family Christmas debuts at No. 1 on Billboard's country albums chart.

It does so on the initial sale of more than 69,000 copies, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

Meanwhile, Blake Shelton's "Mine Would Be You" leaps from No. 4 to No. 1 on the country airplay rankings.

Five other albums make their first chart appearance this week: Thomas Rhett 's It Goes Like This (No. 2), Toby Keith's Drinks After Work (No. 3), Trace Adkins' The King's Gift: A Celtic Christmas Celebration (No. 20), Julie Roberts' Good Wine & Bad Decisions (No. 36) and Sam Riggs & the Night People's Outrun the Sun (No. 62).

Returning to battle are The Statler Brothers' The Best From the Farewell Concert (No. 66), Johnny Cash's The Greatest: The Number Ones (No. 67) and Jana Kramer's Jana Kramer (No. 72).

There are two new songs to note: Sheryl Crow's "Callin' Me When I'm Lonely" (No. 52) and Luke Bryan's "Drink a Beer" (No. 59).

The No. 4 and No. 5 albums, respectively, are Bryan's Crash My Party (last week's No. 1) and Florida Georgia Line's Here's to the Good Times.

Rounding out the Top 5 songs cluster, in descending order, are Tim McGraw's "Southern Girl," Rhett's "It Goes Like This" (last week's No. 1), Chris Young's "Aw Naw" and Keith Urban and Miranda Lambert's minutely monitored "We Were Us," which vaults into the rarefied air after only a nine-week climb.
