Miranda Lambert’s Shoes: Already Under My Tree

Prepare to have a shoegasm, girls. Because Miranda Lambert has a new line of shoes, boots and booties, and they are a must-have for any Lambert lovers on your gift list this year.

I already bought some for my daughters — who are as obsessed with booties as they are Lambert — and maybe a pair for myself. I mean, one pair — the Craig booties — even has a little metal medallion with a guitar on the outside. That’s enough rationale for the $80 price tag, right?

Lambert tweeted about the line on Wednesday (Dec. 18).

“I’m so excited I can finally share with y’all — I designed my own shoe line!” she wrote. “And you can get them now:)”

Her website says , “The shoes are just like Miranda — feisty, sexy, confident — and reflects what makes us love Miranda, bold beyond all expectations with just the right combination of edgy and feminine.”

Exactly. Edgy — with details like studs, buckles, zippers, suede fringe and metallic piping. And feminine — with soft paisley prints on the inside and buttery leather on the outside.

But what do all these shoes have in common? Heels. High, high stacked heels. One pair I bought has 4-inch heels, which is a nice boost for any girl.

I have a feeling this line of footwear is just the beginning for Lambert. I could see her designing clothes, writing a cookbook or even expanding her Pink Pistol chain of retail stores.

“You know, I feel like I’m just still scratchin’ the surface, believe it or not,” Lambert said in a radio interview in March. “I want to build an empire. I mean, I did an interview about Dolly [Parton], and that’s what I’ve always wanted is to just be an entrepreneur and just keep going and going.”

And these new booties would go great with that kind of ambition.
