Frankie Ballard, Cole Swindell Plan February Albums

Levi Lowrey Sets New Project, Co-Produced by Zac Brown

Frankie Ballard and Cole Swindell, two new artists whose music videos are now featured on CMT, have scheduled new albums for February.

Ballard will release Sunshine & Whiskey on Feb. 11 on Warner Bros Records. The project includes his current single, "Helluva Life." The Michigan native collaborated with producers Scott Hendricks and Marshall Altman for the album.

"Making this album was freeing. If I didn't like something, we'd change it, and if we liked something, we'd chase it and try to get it perfect. It was an unbelievably cool experience, and I'm excited to share the new music with fans," Ballard says.

His upcoming tour dates include an opening spot for Scotty McCreery at the Ryman Auditorium on Feb. 18.

Meanwhile, Swindell's self-titled debut album is slated for Feb. 18, also on Warner Bros. He is currently climbing the country chart with "Chillin' It."

A Georgia native, Swindell was a special guest on Luke Bryan's Farm tour in 2013. He also contributed material to Bryan's Spring Break EPs. In addition, his songs have been recorded by Florida Georgia Line, Scotty McCreery, Thomas Rhett and Chris Young. He will resume touring with Bryan in January.

In addition, singer-songwriter Levi Lowrey is scheduled to release his self-titled album on Feb. 25 through Southern Ground Artists. The project was produced by Zac Brown at Southern Ground Studios in Nashville, along with co-producers Clay Cook and Matt Mangano. Lowrey and Brown co-wrote "Colder Weather" and "The Wind" for the Zac Brown Band.

Lowrey wrote or co-wrote all 14 songs on the album.
