Hunter Hayes Will Perform on Grammy Awards

Zac Brown, Martina McBride Will Present Awards

Hunter Hayes has been confirmed to perform on the Grammy Awards on Sunday (Jan. 26) in Los Angeles. His hit single, “I Want Crazy,” is nominated for best country solo performance.

Martina McBride and Zac Brown have also been confirmed as presenters. The ceremony will air live on CBS.

Other newly-announced performers include Gary Clark Jr., as well as a finale performance by Nine Inch Nails, Queens of the Stone Age, Dave Grohl and special guest Lindsey Buckingham.

Kacey Musgraves, Taylor Swift and Keith Urban were added to the list of Grammy performers earlier this month. In addition, Merle Haggard, Kris Kristofferson, Willie Nelson and Blake Shelton will share the stage to pay homage to their roots in Oklahoma and Texas.

Musgraves is nominated for best new artist and best country album for Same Trailer Different Park. As a songwriter, she is nominated twice in the category of best country song — “Mama’s Broken Heart,” recorded by Miranda Lambert, and “Merry Go ‘Round,” her own breakthrough single.

Shelton is nominated this year for best country solo performance (“Mine Would Be You”) and best country album (Based on a True Story). “Mine Would Be You” also received a nod for best country song. Meanwhile, Swift will compete for album of the year, as well as best county album, with Red. “Begin Again” is also in the best country song category.

In addition, Swift and Urban share a nomination with Tim McGraw in the best country duo/group performance with “Highway Don’t Care.” Swift is a seven-time Grammy winner, while Urban has won four Grammys.
