Taylor Swift Hasn’t Aged a Bit

Taylor Swift is still feeling 22, even though she’s 24.

At least, that’s the impression I get from the teaser photo gallery on Glamour.com . Swift is on the cover of their 75th anniversary issue hitting newsstands Tuesday (Feb. 11). The quotes they’ve shared so far make her sound like she still has her youthfulness intact.

Like the way she responds when a date isn’t going so well.

“I think everyone should approach relationships from the perspective of playing it straight and giving someone the benefit of the doubt,” she said. “Until he establishes that this is a game. And if it’s a game, you need to win. The best thing to do is just walk away from the table.”

She may have been talking about a metaphorical table, but still.

And how she manages to maintain her dignity at an age when most celebs aren’t.

“I find it relatively easy to keep my clothes on because I don’t really feel like taking them off,” she said. “It’s not an urge I have. For me, ’risky’ is revealing what really happened in my life through music. ’Risky’ is writing confessional songs and telling the true story about a person with enough details so everyone knows who that person is. That’s putting myself out there, maybe even more than taking my shirt off.”

Then Swift hints at why her new albums may continue to sound similar to her past albums.

“I’m not trying to shed my skin,” she said. “I’m trying to be a new version of the person I’ve been my whole life. That’s what’s held my fans and me together. For a group of millions, it’s odd how close I feel to them.”

Alison makes her living loving country music. She's based in Chicago, but she's always leaving her heart in Nashville.
