Blake Shelton: Cowboy on a Mission

In this exclusive promotional video for The Voice, it's clear that Blake Shelton is "a cowboy on a mission."

Why? Because it's very likely that when the new season of NBC's The Voice kicks off on Feb. 24, he'll be saddling up to bring back another victory.

With three wins in five seasons, Shelton is the winningest coach the series has. (Adam Levine comes in a close second, though, with two wins.)

Even better, two of Shelton's winners -- Cassadee Pope and Danielle Bradbery -- have gone on to make country records. So if he does win again this time around, the odds are that country music will get another voice.

Shelton didn't fare so well when he judged Clash of the Choirs in 2007 and came in third place. That same year, Shelton was also a judge on Nashville Star when Kacey Musgraves was a contestant and came in seventh. It makes you wonder if Shelton saw the promise in Musgraves all those years ago.

However, Shelton says in the video promoting The Voice, "I don't wanna brag about it but ..."

And therein lies his unassuming charm. He can effortlessly joke about being humble because he actually is humble And his sense of humor only adds to it. He's confident without being cocky and modest without being meek.

What makes this clip even better is the country song playing throughout the whole thing: Jerrod Niemann's "Drink to That All Night."

After performing select shows at rodeos and festivals, Shelton will be back on the road in June with the 2014 leg of his Ten Times Crazier tour with The Band Perry, Neal McCoy and Dan + Shay.
