Taylor Swift: Five 'Glamour' Don'ts

Taylor Swift with that disgraceful black bar across her eyes? Yeah. That will never happen.

I know that because Swift just revealed to Glamour magazine that she has a list of her own personal Glamour Don'ts. Things she would never wear, for her own reasons, and probably because no one wants to land on the pages of the magazine in the wrong section. Swift's Don'ts are:

1. Fur

2. Animal prints

3. Shoulder pads, which don't look good on Swift, per Swift

4. Excessively spiky shoes, which look like weapons to Swift

5. Prom-y things

She admits that was guilty of No. 5 when she was in high school.

"When I was 16 and 17, I wore a lot of prom-y things," she said. "And I didn't really have anyone telling me, 'Hey, maybe less sparkles and less prom?' That's the closest thing I have to cringeworthy."

As for her current fashion muses -- who are much less sparkles and prom -- are Audrey Hepburn, Francoise Hardy and Jane Birkin.

"I'm also obsessed with Cyd Charisse (the American dancer and actress). She was tall, like me. And sexy without trying to be," she said.

The story also touches briefly on the after-party commentary from Victoria's Secret model Jessica Hart, who had shared with Women's Wear Daily (and thus the world) that Swift didn't fit in at the retailer's recent fashion show.

"I think, you know what, god bless her heart," Hart said. "I think she's great. But, I don't know, to me, she didn't fit. I don't know if I should say that. I think what you find is that for a lot of us, we've been working for 14, 15 years. What it takes to make it here comes from experience and confidence and knowing how to be confident with yourself. I think it comes with age. It's definitely the benchmark of all jobs."

Swift told Glamour she's not bothered when someone makes those kind of comments.

"I know when not to read an article," she said.
