If it's true Taylor Swift and international pop sensation Lorde are becoming fast friends, I can already see one thing the two have in common. They don't Tweet and Instagram their every move.

Sure, Swift did post a photo of the two of them at the beach on Saturday (Feb. 22). And then the New Zealand star retweeted that tweet. But that was that. It wasn't like, "Here we are on the sand. Here we are in the water. Here we are getting ice cream cones. Here's an artsy silhouette of us when the sun went down."

Swift's shot was captioned, simply, "Bare feet in the sand on a Saturday."

But the rest of the world can't seem to stop tweeting about the evolving friendship between the singers. The two were seen in Los Angeles, and on Sunday, they shopped together at Rag & Bone and Free People in West Hollywood, according to MTV.com.

If you really analyze the two singers' approach to Twitter, I can only find one real difference.

Lorde's page header has just one quote, and it's from the American indie rocker Conor Oberst. "No, I am not singing for you," it says, from the 10-minute Bright Eyes song/rant "Let's Not S*** Ourselves (To Love and to Be Loved)."

Swift's page, on the other hand, has a lyric she pulled from one of her own songs. Her Twitter bio reads, "Happy. Free. Confused. Lonely. At the same time." Which comes directly from her 2013 hit "22."

After a weekend of doing girl things with Lorde, Swift will likely have to get back to work and into tour rehearsals again. Her tour resumes again in June when she heads to Japan, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore.
