Brad Paisley, Randy Houser Joust in Jest Via Twitter

The Two Stars Go Head-to-Head on Social Media

Are y’all hip to the magic of Twitter? If so, and you don’t “follow” Brad Paisley on the popular social media site, you’re missing out.

He’s a hoot. There’s really no other way to describe it. Long regarded as one of the wittiest personalities in country music, Paisley isn’t afraid to take on any topic — or anybody — via his Twitter account. Of course, it’s all in good fun.

But look out, Brad. Randy Houser isn’t afraid to have some fun and stir things up either.

When Paisley brought his Beat This Winter tour to Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on Saturday (Feb. 22), Houser was there and decided to throw a little Twitter love out to Paisley. Well, at least that how it started.

“Had an awesome night! Houser tweeted. “Date night with @JessaLeeHouser. Heck of a show, @BradPaisley. Unforgettable summer coming.”

Paisley hasn’t announced the full details of his summer tour, but it sounds like Houser may be joining him on the road. If that’s the case, Houser has no idea how unforgettable his summer is likely to be.

Paisley replied, “@RandyHouser, Yep, we’re gonna have a blast. Watch your back though.”

That’s probably good advice. After all, Paisley is known as the king of pranks on the road. Just ask The Band Perry, who fell victim to Paisley’s prankster ways after he once Photoshopped Reid Perry out of one of their band photos and replaced him with an image of actor Christopher Guest in his role as hard rock guitarist Nigel Tufnel in the film, This Is Spinal Tap.

Then there was the time back in 2011 where Paisley pranked tourmate Blake Shelton by replacing the contents of an air freshener on Shelton’s bus with — wait for it — raw chicken.

But it seems Houser is aware of Paisley’s reputation and is ready to take on any joke or prank the headliner could possibly toss his way.

“@BradPaisley Oh, it’s gonna be like that? Ok. Brainstorming begins now,” Houser tweeted.

That’s it, Randy. Stay strong. Don’t be afraid to throw it right back to him, but also make sure you watch your back, buddy.
