Carrie Underwood Heading to Florida for Labor Day Weekend Festival

She'll Join Blake Shelton and Dierks Bentley at Pepsi Gulf Coast Jam

Carrie Underwood was in New Orleans over the weekend for some Mardi Gras festivities. Later this year, she'll have the opportunity to put her toes in the water at Panama City Beach, Fla.

PCB has seemingly long belonged to Luke Bryan and his super-fun annual spring break antics, and Underwood will be heading to the white sands over Labor Day weekend. Dierks Bentley and Blake Shelton will join her as headliners at the second annual Pepsi Gulf Coast Jam.

Both Bentley and Shelton will be heading out on major tours this year -- Bentley with his Riser tour and Shelton with his Ten Times Crazier tour. But the Florida show may be a particularly good opportunity to see Underwood perform this year. According to her website, she only has a handful of concerts listed so far this year.

Could she be taking time to work on a new album? We can only hope so. In any case, Underwood will headline the beachfront festival on Aug. 29, with Bentley headlining the Aug. 30 lineup and Shelton closing out the weekend on Aug. 31.

The Gulf Coast Jam website is already offering condo packages for those who want a place to crash during the festival. Tickets to the festival go on sale March 28.

Last year, country fans flocked from all over to see Toby Keith, Brantley Gilbert, Trace Adkins and the Eli Young Band, in addition to performances by Kip Moore, Brett Eldredge, the Charlie Daniels, Tyler Farr, Jerrod Niemann and many others.

Underwood, Bentley and Shelton on the white sands of Florida sounds like one heck of a party. I'll bring the SPF 50. What a way to close out summer, right?
