Southern Living magazine and CMT are partnering to celebrate two of America’s favorite things — delicious home-cooked food and country music — in Country Music’s Greatest Eats , a new book that arrived in stores Tuesday (May 6).
Much more than a cookbook, Country Music’s Greatest Eats is described as “a backstage pass to the lives — and kitchens — of 30 of country music’s biggest and brightest stars,” including Florida Georgia Line, Miranda Lambert, the Zac Brown Band, Gloriana, Alan Jackson, Hank Williams Jr. and Wynonna.
Music fans and Southern food lovers get a seat at the table as the artists share some of the recipes they grew up with, memorable meals enjoyed on the road and the dishes they love to come home to. With more than 75 recipes, extensive interviews and personal photos, the book captures the sizzle and flavor of country music.

Country Music’s Greatest Eats was compiled by Tanner Latham, an Alabama native who traveled throughout the South for a decade — chronicling its people, food and places — as a travel editor for Southern Living. Now based in Atlanta, Latham is host and producer of Authentic South, an on-demand, storytelling podcast that explores Southern culture.
