Keith Urban, Down in the FarmVille

Keith Urban told Ellen DeGeneres that what he really likes about FarmVille (I know, I didn't believe it either) is that it brings people together. So it makes perfect sense that his new song "Good Thing" would be the first song to hit the country escape game in FarmVille.

And that Urban would be bringing people together for the CMT Music Awards, too.

During last week's appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Urban announced he wants a lucky fan to come to the 2014 CMT Music Awards in Nashville on June 4 and stop by for a meet-and-greet, too. All you have to do to enter is fill out the form on Ellen.com and write why you deserve to win in 1,500 words or less.

The rest of Urban's time on the talk show was spent talking about his wife Nicole Kidman, their daughters Sunday and Faith and his future on American Idol. But when DeGeneres asked him if he was going to be a judge again next season, all he said was, "I'd like to be there. I've had such a great time doing this."

Then he opened up about a game (actually it's more like a dare) going on between him, some radio executives and some people from his record label.

The group tries to come up with a word that Urban has to work into his commentaries on the reality show. So far, he has been able to throw words and phrases like "Viking," "spackle," "shish-kabob" and "fanny pack." The latest word, he told DeGeneres, is "platypus." There was even an Idol video clip of Urban telling a contestant, "You're like a musical platypus, baby" because she was like her own species.
