New(er) Faces Hunter Hayes, Thomas Rhett Rule Charts This Week

Dan + Shay Have Highest Song Debut With "Show You Off"

The new generation of country artists control this week's charts, with Hunter Hayes' Storyline topping the albums list and Thomas Rhett 's "Get Me Some of That" emerging as the nation's most-played song.

"Get Me Some of That" attained the summit after an arduous 26-week climb.

Nielsen SoundScan reports that Storyline sold 69,187 copies its first week out.

There's only one other new album to note -- the soundtrack collection Nashville: The Music of Nashville: Season 2: Volume 2, which enters at No. 4.

CDs returning to the charts include Ray Price's Beauty Is ... : The Final Sessions (No. 24), Toby Keith's Drinks After Work (No. 44), the multi-artist package Now That's What I Call a Country Party (No. 45), Tim McGraw's Two Lanes of Freedom (No. 46) and Luke Bryan's Spring Break ... Here to Party (No. 50).

Three new songs come aboard: Dan + Shay's "Show You Off" (No. 51), John King's "Tonight Tonight" (No. 57) and David Fanning's "Drink You Away" (No. 60).

The No. 2, No. 3 and No. 5 albums, in that order, are Bryan's Crash My Party (last week's No. 1), Florida Georgia Line's Here's to the Good Times and Eric Church's The Outsiders.

Rounding out the Top 5 songs cluster are Florida Georgia Line's "This Is How We Roll," featuring Bryan, Bryan's "Play It Again," Rascal Flatts' "Rewind" and Church's "Give Me Back My Hometown" (last week's No. 1).

For all you ephemera aficionados, we offer these title-tale mashups: "Rewind/Tonight Tonight," "Show You Off/Bottoms Up" and "Sunshine & Whiskey/Drink You Away."

Yes. You're right. We have no shame.
