What If: Kanye West + Kim Kardashian = Country Music?

It was supposed to be the wedding with no media coverage whatsoever. And yet, no. The media did indeed cover the not-so-hush-hush Kanye West and Kim Kardashian wedding weekend in Florence, Italy, on Saturday (May 24).

One big story within that story is that West secretly hired Lana Del Ray to sing at a pre-wedding concert of sorts.

We couldn't find many tweets about it. Not that Kardashian and her sisters Khloe, Kourtney, Kendall and Kylie weren't tweeting. It's just that they were more about Instagramming fabulous photo after fabulous photo with relevant shout-outs to the designers who dressed them.

But what we do know is that the rehearsal dinner surprise took place at sunset at the royal château in Versailles in the Île-de-France region of France. Del Rey was there to perform three songs for the pair and their guests.

What if, though, West had hired a country singer to perform for his bride at the Palace of Versailles?

Or better yet, what if he'd hired a bunch of country girls to perform a mix of love songs for Kardashian? I mean, who does love songs better than the women of country?

If he'd asked for our opinion -- and he most certainly didn't -- this would've been the best Versailles playlist to kick off the tying of the knot properly:

1. "Love Song," Miranda Lambert

2. "I Hope You're the End of My Story," Pistol Annies

3. "Makin' Plans," Lambert

4. "Twenty Years and Two Husbands Ago," Lee Ann Womack

5. "Dearly Beloved," Faith Hill

6. "100 Proof," Kellie Pickler

7. "Love Land," Martina McBride

8. "The Way I Loved You," Taylor Swift

9. "Sober," Little Big Town

10. "Leave Love Alone," Carrie Underwood
