Luke Bryan Falls Off Stage, Again

"What is it about North Carolina that makes me bust my ass?" That's what Luke Bryan asked fans during his Charlotte, N.C., show on Thursday (May 29).

That's so typical of him: to fall completely off the stage during a show, and then make light of it. The fall happened when he was singing Macklemore & Ryan Lewis' "Can't Hold Us." (That'll teach him not to cover hip hop songs, am I right?)

If you love Luke Bryan like we love Luke Bryan, the video is actually kind of hard to watch. Because he's right at the edge of the stage, singing his Georgia boy heart out, when one leg just slips off and the rest of his body goes down with it. Into a sea of screaming and obviously concerned fans.

"The last time I was in North Carolina, I busted my ass," Bryan said once he got back up on the stage and sat down on the edge. And then he just kept on singing. Going right into "Crash My Party" but changing the lyrics to "This is a bust-your-ass kind of night in North Carolina."

By 9 p.m. that night, Bryan took to Twitter to say those four little words his fans and friends and followers wanted to hear: "I'm good. Few stitches."

We'll be sure to follow up with any more news about Bryan's recovery.
