Excitement Builds Around the 2014 CMT Music Awards

New Performers and Honorees Are Still Being Announced

With less than 24 hours to go until CMT throws the loudest, most rocking party of the year, details continue rolling out about the 2014 CMT Music Awards. Fans are getting a sneak peek at what are sure to be some of the night's biggest moments.

Tuesday afternoon (June 3), the show's host Kristen Bell addressed the media with excitement about the upcoming show.

"I look for any excuse to come back to Nashville," she told reporters about returning to host the show for the third time. "Especially to weasel my way into hosting this show because I find it to be the best concert I have ever been to."

During the press conference, some new information was made public.

In true CMT style, this year's party will include show-stopping collaborations featuring pop superstars Jason Derulo (with Luke Bryan and Florida Georgia Line) and John Legend (with Jennifer Nettles and Hunter Hayes).

Meanwhile, Kacey Musgraves and Lee Ann Womack are set take the stage in tribute to Alan Jackson, who will be honored for his 20 years of memorable music videos. Carrie Underwood will present the honor.

And on top of that, more celebrity presenters have been revealed.

Blake Shelton, The Band Perry, radio personality Bobby Bones, Carrie Underwood, the cast of Party Down South, CMT Radio's Cody Alan, the Eli Young Band, NFL player Eric Decker and singer Jessie James Decker, Jason Aldean, Kacey Musgraves, Keith Urban, Kip Moore, Lindsey Stirling, Lionel Richie, Sara Evans, Tom Arnold and Motley Crue's Vince Neil will all make appearances.

The 2014 CMT Music Awards show kicks off Wednesday (June 4) at 8 p.m. ET.
