Overanalyzing Faith Hill’s First Selfie

Selfies are no big deal. Unless you’re Faith Hill — and you’ve never taken one before.

But there’s a first for everything, and Friday (June 6) was that day.

Hill posted a photo of herself with her husband Tim McGraw from the set of the video shoot for their new duet. Her social network caption just said, “My first selfie! On video shoot for ’Meanwhile Back at Mama’s.'”

And because I can, I’m going to completely overanalyze every little detail of the Twitter photo.

1. They are on a dirt road. No big surprise there. It will be a rural-themed video.

2. She’s wearing a simple white Henley T-shirt, and he’s wearing a chambray shirt and a ball cap.

3. Both Hill and McGraw are making pretty perfect duck faces. Their daughters must’ve taught them well.

4. Hill is wearing a teeny tiny star necklace. And if you know Hill, you know that she’s a long way from Star, Miss.

But maybe the necklace means something. Like that they went back to her hometown to shoot or to McGraw’s hometown of Rayville, La., to shoot? Or better yet, both.
