Garth Brooks has confirmed Atlanta as the second city of his world tour with a Sept. 19 concert scheduled at the Philips Arena.
Wednesday’s (July 30) announcement cited only one performance at 6:30 p.m., but Brooks is expected to add additional shows to take place over several days. After announcing a single concert for Sept. 4 in Chicago, additional dates were announced when tickets went on sale last week. He’s now scheduled to perform 10 concerts in Chicago through Sept. 14.
In announcing a tour, most acts list specific markets and dates. Brooks has opted to announce his tour dates on a market-by-market basis.
Tickets to Brooks’ Atlanta concert go on sale Aug. 8 at 10 a.m. ET via Ticketmaster. Online and phone orders will be accepted that day. Tickets will not be sold at the venue box office or Ticketmaster outlets on Aug. 8.
