Brad Paisley, Carrie Underwood Return as CMA Awards Hosts

CMA Music Festival Special Airs Tuesday on ABC

Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood are returning to host the CMA Awards on Nov. 5 in Nashville. This will be the seventh year they’ve teamed up to host the ceremony.

In addition, both stars will be spotlighted in the three-hour ABC special, CMA Music Festival: Country’s Night to Rock, airing Tuesday night (Aug. 5). The special will be hosted by Little Big Town, who will also be featured with a performance during the show.

Jason Aldean, Dierks Bentley, Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line, Brantley Gilbert, Hunter Hayes, Lady Antebellum, Jake Owen, Rascal Flatts, Thomas Rhett , Darius Rucker, Cole Swindell, The Band Perry and Keith Urban are also confirmed to appear in the special.

In addition, collaborations include Eric Church and Lzzy Hale, Miranda Lambert and Underwood, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, Justin Moore with Vince Neil and Nikki Sixx of Motley Crue, Blake Shelton with Gwen Sebastian, and the Zac Brown Band and Richie Sambora.

The performances were taped in June during the CMA Music Festival’s nightly concert series at Nashville’s LP Field.
