Holly Williams Welcomes First Child

Stella June Coleman Is Hank Williams Sr.'s Great-Granddaughter

Holly Williams and her husband Chris Coleman welcomed the birth of their first child -- a girl -- on Tuesday (Sept. 30).

Stella June Coleman was born in Nashville at 1:45 p.m. and weighed 7 pounds 12 ounces, according to People.

"I'm beyond thrilled to meet her. I'm so incredibly blessed," Williams told the magazine.

Williams, the daughter of Hank Williams Jr. and granddaughter of Hank Williams Sr., chose family names for her baby. Stella was the name of a distant aunt, while June was the name of Williams' maternal grandmother, with whom she was very close.

Her song "Waiting on June" was inspired by her grandmother.

Following the birth, Williams posted a photo on Instagram of her newborn daughter's tiny hands, along with the caption, "Hello world! Stella June Coleman arrived this afternoon. How does she have a perfect manicure?! Our hearts are mush and we are thanking God every single second for this healthy miracle of life."

Coleman and Williams were married in 2009. He is currently a backing musician for the rock band Kings of Leon, and Williams just finished touring in support of her 2013 album, The Highway.
