Yes, Wy, yes! The Grammy-winning country legend is set to embark on her Wynonna and Friends: Stories & Songs tour, which will kick off Jan. 14 in Durham, North Carolina.

And this tour will be a little different. The show will be stopping in more intimate venues, giving fans a chance to get more up close and personal with the singer. Emphasis on the personal here, too, because she's planning to get pretty personal by sharing the stories behind some of her biggest hits.

Judd said in a statement that a tour like this one is a "dream," and something she's never done before: "I am more passionate now than I have ever been about my life, my gift, my faith, hopes and dreams, and I want so much to share my story and my songs with my fans."

And what an incredible journey the icon has enjoyed so far -- Grammy awards, ACM and CMA awards, countless hits and royal status as one-half of one of country music's greatest duos, The Judds.

You just know the tales behind these tunes are going to be good. Because if there's one other thing you need to know and love about Wy, it's this. The singer does not hold back. And that candor is just one of the many qualities that make her a treasure. You know, in addition to that unmistakable, growling, soulful voice and to-die-for flaming red mane.

Judd's hubby Cactus Moser will also be along for the ride. After all, he's in the band, the Big Noise. The two have also been working together on material for Judd's upcoming eighth studio album, expected to be released next year on Curb Records.

Wynonna and Friends: Stories and Songs will trek across the country through March 8, 2015, with more dates to come.
